First Visit
At your first visit, Dr. Young and the team will spend some time getting to know you and gather all of the information necessary to examine every part of your smile and bite. We believe spending adequate time discussing your concerns is the only way to make sure nothing is missed. Although this appointment may take a little more time, it is a very important step to ensuring long-lasting, beautiful results. Feel free to ask any and all questions, Dr. Young is always happy to give advice and lend a helping hand where he can! If any treatment is being considered, Dr. Young will thoroughly go through treatment options and timing. As he feels good communication is vitally important, we will do our best to make sure any plans are crystal-clear so there are no surprises. Often, a letter will also be sent to your dentist that same day so you won’t have to do as much explaining at your future appointments.
Multidisciplinary Approach
Dr. Young believes in a multidisciplinary approach which means he will consult with your general dentist if needed, and invite the additional necessary specialists (such as your periodontist, prosthodontist, or oral surgeon) to participate in giving you the very best esthetic long-term outcomes.
3D Technology to study your smile
We take pride in being a fully digital practice – meaning no goopy impressions are necessary! Our modern X-ray machines, scanners and cameras provide us with stunning images of both your teeth and jaws. A digital scan of your teeth may be taken at this appointment so they can be 3D printed into models that Dr. Young can use to plan your treatment.
